As markets develop in Asia, so do consumers - their needs, wants and communication habits are constantly changing and evolving. The more developed a market, the less "show-off" the use of brands as status symbols; at the same time Asians are still in love with the luxury brand.
The talk looks at the fundamentals of brand building - why do consumers love brands - and in particular at Asian consumers and how they have changed, together with consequences for marketers operating in Asia, be it in a B2C or B2B situation. These fundamentals of brand building in Asia are valid for Start-ups, SMEs and even MNCs.
